1. Scope and Applicability
This Policy applies to the processing of information relating to:

2. Roles and Responsibilities
Depending on the context, AppLixir may act as:

  • A data processor or service provider processing personal data on behalf of Clients pursuant to contractual instructions; or
  • An independent data controller with respect to information collected directly through the Website or in connection with account administration, marketing, and compliance activities.

Clients are responsible for determining the lawful basis for processing end-user data on their Properties and for providing appropriate disclosures and obtaining valid user consent where required by applicable law.

When end users interact with Properties utilizing AppLixir technology, we may collect or receive certain information automatically, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address (which may be truncated or hashed);
  • Approximate geographic location (such as city or region);
  • Device type, manufacturer, model, and operating system;
  • Browser type, version, and language settings;
  • Advertising interaction data, including impressions, views, clicks, completions, and reward confirmations;
  • Property identifiers, timestamps, and session-related metadata;
  • Advertising identifiers such as Android Advertising ID or Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers, where permitted by law and subject to applicable consent requirements.

Such information is generally processed in a pseudonymous, aggregated, or de-identified form and is not intended to directly identify individual end users.

4. Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies
AppLixir and its authorized partners use cookies, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • Enable core Service functionality;
  • Store and honor user consent preferences;

Where required by law, such technologies are deployed only after obtaining valid user consent through an appropriate consent management platform.

5. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process information for the following purposes and pursuant to the following legal bases, as applicable:

  1. Performance of a contract – to provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  2. Legitimate interests – including service improvement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and enforcement of agreements;
  3. Consent – where required for targeted advertising, marketing communications, or the placement of certain cookies or identifiers;
  4. Legal obligation – to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful governmental requests.

We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

6. Advertising, Rewards, and Opt-Out Mechanisms
AppLixir specializes in opt-in and user-initiated advertising formats, including rewarded video and incentive-based experiences. Where a user elects to opt out of targeted advertising:

  • Advertising identifiers will not be used for targeting purposes;
  • Ads, if delivered, will be contextual or non-targeted;
  • No new unique identifiers will be assigned to such user.

Opt-out mechanisms are honored in accordance with applicable privacy frameworks and platform requirements.

7. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information to:

  • Third-party service providers, demand partners, and technology vendors acting on our behalf under written agreements;
  • Affiliates and entities under common ownership or control;
  • Legal, regulatory, or governmental authorities where disclosure is required by law;
  • Successor entities in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

All disclosures are subject to appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards.

8. International Data Transfers
AppLixir is headquartered in the United States. Information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in jurisdictions outside of an individual’s country of residence. Where required, AppLixir relies on appropriate transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses and UK-approved transfer addenda.

9. Data Retention
We retain information for only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including compliance with legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. Information may thereafter be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated.

10. Information Security
AppLixir maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no security measure is infallible, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and AppLixir does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. Clients are prohibited from deploying AppLixir Services on child-directed Properties without appropriate legal compliance measures.

Requests may be submitted to info@applixir.com and will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

13. Do Not Track Signals
There is currently no universally accepted standard for Do Not Track signals. AppLixir responds to consent-based mechanisms rather than browser-based DNT signals.
